Manuscripts must be prepared strictly according to IJPR formatting and submission requirements as outlined below.
The cover letter must clearly state that:
The manuscript is original and has not been published previously
The manuscript is not under consideration by any other journal
All authors have approved the submission
The cover letter should be submitted by the corresponding author on behalf of all co-authors and addressed to the Managing Editor, IJPR.
Authors may optionally suggest two potential reviewers with affiliations and contact details.
The first page must contain:
Concise and informative title
Full names of all authors
Institutional affiliations
Email addresses of all authors
Full postal address, email, and mobile number of the corresponding author
Maximum 300 words
Should summarize objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions
Avoid abbreviations and acronyms
Do not cite references
Taxonomic authorities should not be used
Include 3–6 keywords immediately after the abstract
Briefly outlines the background, rationale, objectives, and relevance of the study with appropriate citations.
Must include detailed experimental procedures, instruments, software, study design, and statistical analysis, with proper citations.
Presents findings clearly and concisely using past tense. Results should be factual and without citations.
Interprets the results, compares them with existing literature, and explains their significance.
Summarizes key findings and major outcomes of the study.
Note: Results, Discussion, and Conclusion sections may be combined where appropriate.
Acknowledge funding agencies, institutional support, collaborators, and contributors. Any conflict of interest must be disclosed.
References must follow Vancouver style
Citations should appear sequentially in the text
Authors are responsible for accuracy and completeness of references
(All reference examples provided by IJPR may be followed as standard models)
Format: JPG/JPEG
Resolution: 300 dpi
Width: 75 mm or 155 mm
Figures must be cited in numerical order
Multipart figures labeled A, B, C…
Legends must be provided on a separate page
Figure caption format:
Fig. 1: (Times New Roman, 9 pt, Bold)
Designed using MS Word table tools
No vertical lines; minimal horizontal lines
Placed after references
Numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals
Each table must have a self-explanatory title and legend
Table caption format:

Tables and figures must not duplicate data.
Use SI units only
Leave a space between numerical values and symbols (e.g., 10 mg)
Use “×” instead of “x”
Italicize genus and species names
Equations must be created using MS Word Equation Editor
Use SI units and standard scientific symbols
Avoid plagiarism in any form
Manuscripts found guilty of plagiarism (before or after publication) will be retracted, and authors may be blacklisted
Authors are advised to follow the format of recently published IJPR articles
Maximum 4500 words
Must present updated, critical, and comprehensive analysis
Maximum 1000 words
Concise reports of novel or preliminary findings
Maximum 2000 words
Must describe rare, novel, or clinically significant cases
Maximum 10 references
Up to 6 authors
Structure: Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Case Report, Discussion, References, Tables, Figures
Maximum 800 words
5–10 references
Up to 6 authors
Should relate to previously published IJPR articles or express scholarly viewpoints
