Instruction to Authors

General Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original scholarly contributions that align with the aims and scope of the International Journal of Pharmaceutical Research (IJPR). Submissions may include original research articles, review articles, case studies, and short/brief communications. Manuscripts should present original concepts, findings, or critical analyses that contribute to the advancement of pharmaceutical sciences.

All manuscripts must be written in English and prepared using Times New Roman font, size 12, with single line spacing. The document should be formatted in a single-column layout with 1-inch (2.5 cm) margins on all sides and submitted in MS Word format (.doc or .docx).

The complete manuscript, including tables, figures, and references, should not exceed 20 pages.

Article Acceptance Criteria

Manuscripts submitted to IJPR will be considered for publication based on the following criteria:

  1. The manuscript must represent original work that contributes meaningfully to the relevant field of study. Original review articles and systematic surveys are also considered, even when presenting synthesized rather than novel data.

  2. The work must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

  3. Experimental procedures, statistical analyses, and methodologies must be conducted with high technical and scientific standards and reported in sufficient detail.

  4. Results and data should be clearly presented and must adequately support the conclusions drawn.

  5. The manuscript must be written in clear, correct, and professional English.

  6. Appropriate and relevant citations to previously published literature must be included, and the manuscript must fall within the scope of IJPR.

Plagiarism and Duplicate Publication Policy

  1. All submissions to IJPR are subjected to plagiarism screening, including checks for similarity with the authors’ previously published work.

  2. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarized content will be rejected without further consideration.

  3. Authors may submit work derived from their theses or dissertations, provided proper citation is given and the content has not been published elsewhere.

  4. Upon acceptance, authors are required to transfer copyright of the manuscript to IJPR.

  5. Manuscripts must not be submitted simultaneously to IJPR and any other journal during the peer-review process.

Language and Grammar Standards

  1. Manuscripts submitted to IJPR must meet acceptable standards of English grammar and language clarity. Submissions with poor language quality may be rejected at the initial screening stage.

  2. To assist authors in improving manuscript quality prior to submission, IJPR Access offers optional professional grammar and language editing services on a paid basis
